Voodoo Rose
The Voodoo rose is an award-winning hybrid tea known for its "magical" ability to change colors as the bloom matures, It is a high-performance rose that earned the prestigious All-American Rose Selection (AARS) award in 1986. Color: a vibrant "multi-blend". The buds begin a deep yellow and peach, opening into a brilliant orange and coral, and eventually maturing into a blazing scarlet or deep pink. A single bush often displays all these colors at once. Fragrance: Strong and sweet, often described as a rich fruity perfume. Growth Habit: Very vigorous and upright. It can reach heights of 5 to 6 feet, making it one of the taller hybrid teas. Disease Resistance: It has been nicknamed, "Mr. Clean" by some growers because it stays remarkably healthy even without heavy chemical intervention. It is highly resistant to mildew and has above-average resistance to black spot and rust. Foliage: Large, glossy, leathery dark-green leaves that contrast beautifully with the warm orange tones of the flowers.
