Pinkerbelle Rose
The Pinkerbelle Hybrid Tea rose was bred by Meilland International of France and was introduced to the US in 2019 It is a celebrated modern variety that combines the classic beauty of a hybrid tea rose with exceptional health. Visual Appearance: Bloom color-it features a stunning multi-toned bloom color that is often described as having a "fairy-tale" or "hand-painted" appearance. The main body of the petal starts as a soft, creamy white to ivory with a distinct magenta-pink picotee edge. As the bloom opens, it often shows a subtle lavender or soft pink flush throughout the petals. Bloom Shape: Large, cupped and double flowers (approx 30-35 petals per bloom). Fragrance: Very strong and unique. Pinkerbelle has a spicy, citrusy aroma with clear notes of lemon verbena. Growth Habit: Upright, bushy, and vigorous. It typically reaches 5 to 6 feet in height and about 3 feet in width. Vase Life: Excellent, its long, sturdy stems and high petal count make it a favorite for cutting and floral arrangements. Disease Resistance: This is a standout feature. It has superior resistance to common rose ailments, specifically rust, mildew and black spot. It is known to perform well in humid climates where hybrid teas struggle. Hardiness: Suitable for USDA zones 5-9.
