Barbra Streisand Rose

The Barbra Streisand rose is a high-performance Hybrid Tea known for its "diva-level" presence-specifically its intense fragrance and striking color. Much like the artist herself, this rose was a perfectionist's choice; Barbra Streisand personally collaborated with the breeder to ensure it met her high standards for scent and form. The Bloom & Fragrance: Color, a sophisticted rich lavender-mauve. The buds are deep purple and open into large, 4 to 5 inch fully double blooms. A unique feature is the magenta-purple blush that often accents the outer edges of the petals. The Scent: This is its most famous trait. It produces a powerful, citrusy, and sweet "old rose" perfume. The fragrance is so strong that just one or two stems can easily scent a large room. Form: Classic high-centered Hybrid Tea shape with 25-35 petals. The stems are notably long and sturdy, making them premier for high-end floral arrangements. Growth Habit & Health: Size, It is an upright, bushy shrub that typically reaches 4-5 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Foliage: the leaves are large, glossy and dark green.
