Summer Romance Rose

The Summer Romance rose is part of the prestigious Parfuma Collection by the German breeder, Kordes. It is one of the most celebrated modern roses for its ability to combine the old-world "English Rose" aesthetic with incredible disease resistance. Bloom Style: Very full, cup-shaped blooms. Color: Deep, glowing pink buds that open into soft, romantic pink flowers. Fragrance: This is the standout feature. It has an intense, award-winning scent as a mix of ripe apple, anise (licorice), and spicy rose. Growth Habit: Typically an upright shrub growing about 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide. In warmer climates it can reach 6 feet.  Foliage: Dense, dark green, glossy. It is famous for its resistance to blackspot and mildew, making it a "no-spray" favorite. Climate: Thrives in USDA zones 5-9, it is particularly good for humid areas where others might struggle. Landscape Use: Excellent fragrant hedge or mid-border plant.
