Honor rose

$40.00

The 'Honor' rose is widely considered one of the most elegant white Hybrid Teas ever bred. Since its debut in the 1980's, it has remained a favorite for those seeking a "pure" white bloom without the creamy or yellow undertones found in many other varieties. Color: The blooms are a crisp, satiny white. While the buds may show a hint of pale green or cream as they first crack open, they mature into a stark clean white. Fragrance: It has a light, subtle tea scent. While it isn't powerful as 'Perfume Delight' or 'Secret', its fragrance is clean and classic. Bloom Form: The flowers are exceptionally large (up to 5 inches across) with high-centered, double-bloom structure (about 20-25 petals). Stem Quality: It is famous for producing extra-long, sturdy stems, which is why it is a top choice for formal arrangements. Habit: Very upright and vigorous, doesn't "flop" with heavy blooms. Breeder: William Warriner, US released in 1980. Awards won for exceptional performance, disease resistance across various climates. Hardiness: USDA zones 5-10 adaptable to both heat and cold. Bare Root budded, 2-yr rose Grade #1, the highest retail quality for roses.
