Beverly Eleganza, Hybrid Tea rose bred by the legendary German rose house Kordes. Kordes is famous for having the strictest testing standards in the world. For over 20 years, they stopped using fungicides in their trial grounds, meaning any rose that carries their name is bred to be "bulletproof" against disease. The Eleganza series was created to combine the classic, high-centered look of a Hybrid Tea with the modern, "no-spray" health of a shrub rose. Color & Fragrance: The classic light pink with the intense citrus/pear scent. It is one of the most sought-after roses for the peak 2026 season due to its rare combination of peak fragrance and high disease resistance. Hardiness: one of the most versatile roses in terms of climate, generally rated for USDA zones 5-10, it is exceptionally cold hardy but also best-performing in high heat. While Beverly is available as an Own Root plant, the budded (grafted) version is preferred by many professional growers for 1.) Explosive growth: The Dr. Huey rootstock acts like a high-powered engine, allowing Beverly to reach its full 4-5 foot height much faster than an Own-Root plant. 2.)Immediate Blooms: Grade #1 Budded plants have higher stored energy, making them more likely to produce their award-winning 50 petal pink blooms in their very first spring flush. 3.)Soil Adaptability: The grafted rootstock is often more tolerant of alkaline or "tired" soils than an own roots might be.
